Paeonia lactiflora is the dried roof of Paeonia lactiflora Pall which belongs to the family of buttercup.
It is a Chinese traditional medicine beingused frequently, which could calm the liver and kill the pain,
nourishing the blood and regulate emmenia, retaining yin with astringent and decrease perspiration.
Function:
1. Paeoniflorin has a significant analgesic effect.
2. Peony extract can antagonize the fainting caused by convulsions. White peony decoction on certain pathogenic bacteria and fungi inhibit the role.
3. Paeoniflorin has a cooling effect on normal body temperature, and can inhibit platelet aggregation.
4. For the treatment of coronary heart disease; for senile diseases, enhance physical and immune function, anti-inflammatory cough, expectorant and asthma, especially in elderly patients with chronic respiratory diseases can be used as adjuvant drug
