Product Introduction
Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic acid, HA), the sodium salt of Hyaluronic acid, is a linear high molecular weight mucopolysaccharide composed of thousands of repeating disaccharide units of D-glucuronic acid and N-ACETYL-D-glucosamine, with molecular weights ranging from 10k to 4 million Dalton. It is widely present in the extracellular matrix (ECM) of human and vertebrate tissues and in the capsules of some streptococcus, possessing important physiological functions.
Hyaluronic acid has excellent compatibility and can be incorporated into nearly all cosmetic products. However, due to its large molecular structure and high viscosity, the dissolution process is relatively slow. Typically, higher molecular weights require more time for complete dissolution.
